What this site does with information when you visit or get in touch.
Information you choose to send
If you email us at hairold@hairoldthedog.com, your email service and ours process the address and message so we can read and respond. Please do not send sensitive details you do not want in email. You may ask us to delete a message by writing to the same address, subject to records we need to keep.
Daily Dog Log
The Daily Dog Log uses your browser’s local storage to save a dated checklist and note on your own device. The entries are not sent to Hairold The Dog. You can clear an entry in the tool or remove this site’s storage through your browser settings. Clearing browser data or switching devices may erase your notes.
Site delivery and outside links
The hosting service may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure pages. We have not added third-party analytics scripts, advertising pixels, an account system, a newsletter form, or affiliate links. External sites such as Instagram have their own privacy practices when you follow a link.

Email hairold@hairoldthedog.com about privacy questions. This page will be updated if the site adds analytics, advertising, a newsletter, or other data collection.
Games, tools, and your browser
Game records, achievements, boops, explored pages, checklists, and schedules are saved locally in this browser. They are not sent to us and do not sync across devices. Clearing site data removes them. Surprise Me uses temporary session storage. Loading a Spotify player connects to Spotify; their own privacy policy then applies.
Optional saved sitter sheets
The sitter sheet is not saved unless you choose to save it on your device. A saved sheet remains in this browser profile until you clear it or clear site data. Printing or downloading a file creates a copy that you control. No form details are uploaded to Hairold The Dog.
Daily visits, Passport, and My Dog
Your profile, logs, daily challenge dates, and Passport stamps stay in this browser. No account, cloud backup, or cross-device sync is provided. Profile and Passport pages have separate delete controls. Clearing a selected day in the Daily Log removes that day’s details. Downloaded copies remain yours to manage. We do not send private text to analytics or social sharing.
